Business Development Manager (Digital Marketing)

Main Duties

  • Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships or new products and services
  • Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities
  • Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with current clients
  • Pitching sales and products to new and existing clients
  • Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends
  • Creating sales forecasts and actively working towards reaching them
  • Possessing a strong understanding of the company’s products, the competition in the industry and positioning
  • Managing and training a business development team
  • Collaborating with design and sales teams to ensure that teh requirements are met
  • Pitch concepts and summarize results during multiple client meetings
  • Generate sales for client accounts
  • Create account strategies, leading projects from conception to final execution
  • Establish goals and objectives for internal teams to follow
  • Meet deadlines and project budgets
  • In charge of the account management team and support in handling the big accounts
  • Work with teams to develop materials, coordinate events and provide support and direction
  • Supervise staff and projects, motivating and mentoring staff to hit goals and produce successful materials for clients, as well as providing feedback
  • Maintain relationships and serve as the point of contact and liaison for customers

QualificationsDigital Marketing and Advertising skillsExperience in business development and salesStrong communication and negotiation skillsAbility to analyze market trends and competitionProficiency in market research and data analysisExcellent presentation and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of social media platforms and digital advertising tacticsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
