- Analysis of web sites and applications for localization potential projects and estimating time/material required.
- Re-engineering of some components (re-coding, and other technical changes to accommodate localization-related adjustments, script writing, as required)
- Gathering all resource files that contain translatable text (.html, .php, .resx, .po, .strings ……,etc.)
- Identifying internal and external assets/ “included in files” that require translation (images, help files etc.)
- Reviewing Content and get it pre prepared to be ready for translation
- Identifying images and other items that contain text for translation and extracting the text “OCR”
- Supporting translators if they have questions or need help troubleshooting their computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools.
- Providing Training sessions, materials, and tutorials on any Translation tool
- Customized training courses upon need, including Remote Training.
- Developing online and published content
- Web Testing and Functional Testing “rare”
- Ensure compliance with client’s requirements and integrity of data
- Interface and coordinate with project management, sales and customers; provide input to pre-sale planning and estimating of projects
