A smart, knowledeable, and creative interior/furniture designer to be part of our technical office team tasked with converting our Decorama's furniture and kitchen conceptual designs into detailed working technical designs and overseeing their execution according to specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform site surveys.
- Prepare shop drawings, BoQs, and Cutting Lists.
- Manage the production and execution of the project.
- Maintain an organized record of all design and project files, details, samples, and logs.
- Actively work towards improving the effeciency of designs to reduce costs and improve quality.
- Stay up to date with design trends.
Proven working experience in furniture design and production.Expertise in layout, colour, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installations.Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Photoshop and other design programs.Profieciency in Solid Works, Solid Edge, or Kitchen Draw is prefered.Excellent portfolio of previous worksCreative talent, imagination and eye for designOrganizedDetail orientedWell spoken and presentable with strong communication skills.Bachelor degree in Applied arts
