Senior Foreign Purchasing Specialist

1- Working on satisfying the planning‘s requirements in terms of placing orders to suppliers within agreed lead time to ensure delivering the requirements on due date and right quantity.
2- Communicate and follow up with suppliers to receive and review all documentations (Pro-forma invoice in terms of agreed prices, % discount, shipping details, and payment methods /terms. This will enable to update and exchange information about incoming shipment with all concerned partners’ in company.
3- Follow up with other departments such as finance in terms of payment transfer and bank transfer, and warehouse in terms of goods receiving process to follow up back orders. This will complete the ordering cycle till receiving at our company locations.
4- Updating all data that are related to purchasing process in terms of required reports, files, ERP system and control all necessary documentations. So we have updating information that will be supporting to take the right decision for improving business results.
5- Communicate with the forwarders to receive and analyzing their offers / proposals to have the best forwarding process, conditions and terms (internal transport fees, shipping‘s prices, services, and lead time). This will enable us to achieve the best economic solution.
6- Follow up forwards agents to track the shipping process on regular basis considering the updated international shipping laws and regulations to smooth the whole shipping process.
7- Follow up all clearness issues and process in terms of: receiving clearness forms from finance department, and supporting Brokers for having NTRA and other kind of customs requirements / inspections forms. This will smooth the clearness process to achieve the desired target.
8- Prepare the required reports on regular basis – with the team -to direct and review their performance and ensure that the status of the orders under processing are satisfied the concerned one in the company.
9- Undertake other tasks as assigned that suitable the competence of the employee. These tasks will be assigned via a mutually agreed with the procurement manager. These will enable the company to achieve the best utilization of the human resources capabilities.


1- University graduate.2- Minimum 3 years’ experience in business and same field.3- Strong organization skills.4- Dynamic and initiative person.5- High qualifications in negotiation skills6- High level of facilitation skills including interactive communication skills.7- Excellent knowledge of Arabic / English languages (written & spoken).8- Good team player.9- Computer and systems practicality.
