QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the accounting field
• 3+ years finance experience, ideally in a professional service environment
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively
• Ability to communicate effectively - both verbally and in writing - in English as well as the local office language
• Excellent in analytics and problem solving
• Able to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Excellent MS Office skills (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access)
• Some SAP knowledge is recommended

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You will be part of our Finance team, with majority focus on Casablanca, Morocco. Our Finance team consists of colleagues from different parts of the world and is a part of a larger EEMA (Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa) team.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of controls and compliance with our firm's accounting policies. You will ensure the accuracy of the monthly results for your location.  
As a senior accountant, you will be responsible for all accounting processes, projects, and initiatives with little oversight. Additionally, you will drive innovation in processes, controls, reporting, and compliance.
You will also audit processes, local tax, and other governance requirements as appropriate based on local and firm requirements. You will play a critical role in the coordination of the location finance function with the relevant support teams (corporate tax teams, firm reporting teams, etc.). 
As part of your role, you will coach and develop more junior team members, and oversee their work. You will also take care of ad-hoc tasks/projects, as required by your location.
