Shape the future of our client's global electronics supply chain. Our client is a leading defense and aerospace organisation seeking a strategic procurement leader to own and drive their electronics, PCB, and semiconductor sourcing strategy.
Role Overview You will lead the global commodity strategy for electronics, manage key suppliers, and drive cost, quality, and risk-reduction initiatives. This senior role partners closely with Engineering, Programs, Finance, and Operations to ensure a resilient, high-performance supply chain.
Key Responsibilities Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for electronics, semiconductors, and PCBs. Lead and mentor a high-performing procurement team. Manage end-to-end sourcing: RFx, supplier selection, contract negotiations, and LTAs. Build strategic supplier partnerships and oversee SRM. Collaborate cross-functionally to align technical and commercial requirements. Monitor risks, apply best-practice models (e.g., Kraljic), and track KPIs for leadership reporting.
Requirements Engineering qualification Engineering background (electronics) strongly preferred.10+ years in procurement/strategic sourcing with a focus on electronics and PCB commodity management. Aerospace/Defense or high-reliability manufacturing experience advantageous. Strong negotiation, contract, supplier development, and trade compliance knowledge. Proficiency with SAP/SAP Ariba.
