Position: LMMS Expert Type: Hourly contract Compensation: $40 - $120/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities Produce complete music projects in LMMS from concept to final mastered output. Demonstrate creative and technical workflows across composition, sound design, arrangement, mixing, and mastering. Showcase hands-on usage of LMMS features including MIDI sequencing, effects processing, and automation. Work across multiple genres such as electronic, hip-hop, pop, and experimental audio projects. Document workflows, decision-making processes, and production techniques clearly. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine music production methodologies. Provide insights and feedback to improve AI models for music creation.
Requirements Strong experience producing full music projects using LMMS as the primary DAW. Deep understanding of sound design, mixing, and arrangement workflows. Proficiency using LMMS across Linux, Mac, or Windows platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain production processes. Ability to independently manage end-to-end audio production workflows. Familiarity working across diverse genres and audio project types. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in workflow documentation.
