Position: Junior Software Engineer – AI Quality & Testing

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $30 - $42/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

Test and evaluate AI-powered web and mobile products with a focus on video generation. Write detailed test cases and document bugs, edge cases, and product issues. Contribute code improvements and fixes to Type Script-based projects. Analyze user feedback to identify product improvement opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and operations. Apply structured quality engineering practices to enhance product performance. Maintain organized documentation of testing processes and findings.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience. Strong proficiency in Type Script with experience contributing to production codebases. Demonstrated portfolio of self-built projects. Ability to navigate and contribute to complex codebases. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Interest in AI tools and video generation technologies. Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
